Hi Guys,
Using xp sp3. Under Start, Control Panel, Networking Connections, I get a
"cannot find network hardware" message. Also no items show up when I use
Device Manager. I think this may have happened after I installed MMC, however
I cannot find out how to uninstall this service. I have check forums and some
newgroups with no success. I also set the show hidden details in Device
Manager. I have admin rights and I believe that these two conditions are
somehow related. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

For the latter:  Go to Start/Administrative Tools/Services.  Scroll down to
Plug and Play Service and stop and restart it.  Once done the Device Manager
will populate again.
