Hi,

When I used Windows 2000, I had to update the Recovery Console for each
update thru a slipstream distribution folder. Do I have to do the same
for XP Pro?

Thanks in advance,

MPS

If you want to install the Recovery Console as a boot option by using the
winnt32.exe /cmdcons command, you'll need to use an installation CD that is at
the same service pack level as the XP installation.

Keep in mind that you can boot from any XP installation CD and run the Recovery
Console. The service pack level in that situation doesn't matter.

Good luck
