Cyclic Redundancy check error

Hi all,

I try copy files from hard disk usb to my C: drive, and it appears the
following error:

Data error (Cyclic Redundancy check error)

HD has a cable to PC's USB

I open file from HD and works ok, but if I copy file to C: drive , it
appears error.

any help about it, please ?

A CRC error is bad news. It means that Windows is unable to
read data from drive C:, or write to it. Back up all your important
files while you can, then run chkdsk /F from the Command
Prompt. You may have to replace the disk.
