Sorry for such a stupid question!
My OE6 is linked to a few XP groups. I want to find and link to some Vista
groups. )I even know what one of them is called.)
Please; how do I do this. I can only get OE to display about 5 groups
including the three I am linked to and cannot get OE to search a wider range
of newsgroups.
Thanks
Derek

Since you are already using OE, this is easy.
Click on the Newsgroups button. Make sure the "All" tab is selected.
Click "Reset List" if you haven't done so in a while. Then in the box up
top that says "Display newsgroups which contain," type Vista. Scroll
down to where the groups (which are alphabetical) begin with
"microsoft.public.windows.vista."
You'll see a whole bunch, including
microsoft.public.windows.vista.general
Or just click on this link!:

Perhaps you should ask in a group with OE in the title, and also notic
THIS group lacks that.
