All,

I posted this in IE, but no one has replied:

Performing a manual install, I need to eliminate the IE 7 initial
configuration and settings popup for each User the 1st time they launch IE7
after it's already been installed.

Is there a setting after the initial install to avoid the initial
configuration and settings popup for other Users on the PC so the initial
configuration and settings from the install hold for All Users?

Thank you,
John

You would need to create a logon script that creates the following values in
the registry. I am going from memory so you should google this. The values
RunOnceHasShown and RunOnceComplete should be set to 1 (Reg_Dword). They are
located at HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main.

3c273,

I appreciate your reply. I'll test the reg entries.

Thank you,
John

Patience is a virtue.  (Your thread in IE General has had a reply.)
