I used to use a desktop machine which remains in active use by another family
member & have since purchased a laptop loaded with XP. I use MSN LiveMail &
MSN Live Messenger. I log on through MSN but also have the most recent
version of IE (although I rarely open IE).

Of late, when I log on to the laptop, I get a popup message that indicates
I'm currently logged on to another computer and can't use Passport. This
occasionally causes difficulty posing a new question (or responding to
another post) on the Access discussion board. Although when I go to the board
I am told I'm logged (as me), I can't log out to try to reenter the
discussion board, either.

The only place where I could possibly be logged in elsewhere is the desktop
machine. How do I make it "forget" me? Can I somehow make it understand that
I don't want to use the passport feature there?
