Re-install your printer and driver.

You can do a little better than that.

- what make/model of printer?
- what is the exact text of the error message you get?
- can you print from any application, for example, Notepad?
- have you ever been able to print a test page in this manner, and if
yes, what has changed since then?

The OP's original post did not say printer or anything else as a matter of fact. Go and take another look. Malke gave the right answer as per the OP's original post

The OP's original post didn't, but his/her subsequent post (under a
different name) said that he/she was trying to do it from
"From printers---> printer-----> propeties----> test page"

Which is why I replied to that second post rather than the first one.

Man, I never would have guessed that. In general, download drivers for your
printer from the printer mftr.'s website and install them without having
the printer attached to your computer. But that's simply a guess because
you have told us nothing about your computer, the printer, whether this
ever worked, or what you've already tried.
