Deleting Account

My son created an account in XP.  I want to eliminate it.  I do not know the
password he used and do not want to wait until he gives it to me.
How can I eliminate a user account without the pass word

you can sign in under admin and deactivate the account.

Log in as 'Administrator' and change the password to one of your choosing.
You do not need to know the old password.
