External devices and Autoplay does not work

Hello,

When I connect a Flash Drive or an SD card into my computer, the AutoPlay
feature does not work anymore.

I right-click on each device in "My Computer" and choose "Properties" and
then "Autoplay" tab.  Somehow it's always set to Music files but I choose
Mixed Content and choose to always prompt me for action (which I've always
done anyway).

But when I exit, insert an external device, and check Properties again, it's
set back to Music and the Autoplay feature still doesn't work.  The only
external device that works with Autoplay is my external hard drive connected
via USB.

Any advice or suggestions on how to fix it?  Thanks!  -K

If you don't have Microsofts Power Toys for XP TweakUI download it.
In Tweakui, click on My Computer, then Auto Play, Drives. Check drives you
want to auto play......
