Greetings!!!

I had a problem with my dvd writer. I was not able to access. Then while
googling, i found a solution that deleting few registry entries upperfilters
and lowerfilters will solve the problem. but, when i delete entries and
restart, my keyoard and mouse stopped working.

Now finding solution for that, i found one reg file, if i will restore that,
things should work proper. But, as i have login password, and my keyboard
doesnt work, I am unable to login.
so my question is there anyway whereby i can bypass that login screen and
install that reg file. Or anyother way whereby i can restore my reg files.

I dont want to re-install windows, i have 100s of softwares and many
settings...

looking fwd for kind help

thnks & regds

When booting, tap the F8 key to get a boot menu.  Try booting from last
known good configuration.

Is this a recent hardware addition?  If not, did it work at one time and
quit?  Is the drive recognized in the BIOS and Device Manager?  If a recent
addition, did you set the jumper pin(s) correctly?  Are the cables tight?

hi,

the drive is working very much properly. it has detected by bios.. i can
boot from cd or dvd.. means it does work. but only after booting windows it
doesnt work.

these problem came into picture after and when i have install roxio winon cd
6. (thats what i remember). but i have un install that software but still i
cant see my drive.

in device manager i can see yello ! mark.. and the error code
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration
information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

in SCSI and RAID there is one more yellow ! mark... name is roxio and the
error is the same as above.

hope this will help you to solve my problem.

thnks
