I've just started getting the message: "Please Wait While Windows Configures
Fax".
Then it tells me something about a disk. This appears to have started after
I installed Windows XP SP3. I also have been getting - for a long time - a
message are Windows Installer. Am I asking about too many things in the
thread?
Any suggestions? Remove SP3? The Fax came with a HP 4-in-one printer (2410xi
photosmart)

You might try uninstalling and reinstalling the fax software. As well, HP
support may have some ideas.

It would help to know the text of the Windows Installer message.
