I can't seem to get the links bar to be displayed on one line as it was in IE 5. Why? It shows only as "links" and pointing on it brings up a drop down with the links. (All seem to have the "e" logo

I have tried many times to get into a website that requires cookies for access. The site's automatic message tells me I need to make two changes in IE6 settings. Can someone tell me how to make these changes? TIA

I put my proxy settings into the pc and everything works fine, can access internet sites but as soon as i log off and then log back on again the proxy settings dissappear. I have tried doing this several times but with no luck.

When I was on Windows 98, I was able to set hotmail as my default email program. On XP, it appears that Outlook is the default and I cannot figure out how to change it.

After installing the Yahoo companion software, I can only have one IE 6.0 window open at a time. Everytime I try to open a new window, the original window closes. Any ideas? I can't seem to find a setting to reset it.
