IE6 broken and can not repair or reload.  Loaded Netscape
and tried to download IE but not install files for IE 6. Get a
Dr. Watson ie6wzd.exe error message.  Can not revert to old

I am using windows 2000 professional on my laptop and
needed to upgrade to 128 bit.  I downloaded internet
explorer from microsoft and it did not upgrade to 128.

I can't seem to get the links bar to be displayed on one
line as it was in IE 5.   Why?
It shows only as "links" and pointing on it brings up a
drop down with the links.  (All seem to have the "e" logo

After setting up my email account and putting in my
password and user id, I have trouble logging on.  I have
to put my password in manualy.  I keep getting an unknown
17 digit password and I don't know what it is when I use

can anyone please help me transfer an address book from a
ME laptop to a 2000 profesional PC.  Tried exporting it to
a floppy but when I imported the .wab file it wouldn't
save. Cannot save it in a comm delim file.

Help! When I first got the message "do you want to
remember this password" I accidentally typed no. And, of
course, clicked the little boxed which said "don't ask

I have tried many times to get into a website that requires cookies for
access.  The site's automatic message  tells me I need to make two changes
in IE6 settings. Can someone tell me how to make these changes?  TIA

I put my proxy settings into the pc and everything works
fine, can access internet sites but as soon as i log off
and then log back on again the proxy settings dissappear.
I have tried doing this several times but with no luck.

When I was on Windows 98, I was able to set hotmail as my
default email program.  On XP, it appears that Outlook is
the default and I cannot figure out how to change it.

After installing the Yahoo companion software, I can only
have one IE 6.0 window open at a time. Everytime I try to
open a new window, the original window closes. Any ideas?
I can't seem to find a setting to reset it.

when i install my critical updates sometimes i'll get an
error messg saying that isp1 is required when i already
have it. i tried to uninstall then reinstall and it still
shows that.
