I downloaded ie6 but when I try to execute ie6setup it
says that "A previous installation has pending work
requiring a reboot." I reboot but that doesn't help.  I
have deleted the ie6setup file and downloaded again and

I had trouble with my IE so I uninstalled it, using Netscape in the
meantime.  I am trying to reinstall the newest version now but setup is
telling me that the version I have is newer than the setup version and
setup will not continue.  But I don't have it anymore.  Can someone

I've downloaded the Internet Explorer 6 setup file and
I've tried running it several times and everytime it comes
back telling me that it was unable to install all
components and that I should restart and try it again.

Having the same problem as "Tory" in 7-24-03 e-mail with

I have a version of IE that is older than 4.0, and some

version of IE already exists and setup can't continue.
