Is there somewhere I can download a full setup file for Internet Explorer 6
for a computer that does not have internet connectivity yet?

I believe that a virus or other type of malicious software modified the
registry settings for IE 5.5.  As a result, when I went to reset my Home
Page, I couldn't because the General Tab was no longer displaying.
Other tabs were also missing.

I did export using the Export Manager and got a file C:\Documents and
Settings\me\My Documents\bookmark.htm which when double clicking shows my
list of Favourites but it doesn't show the addresses - I need to double

I am not sure what has happened to my internet explorer
properties first tab. I'd tell ya what the tab was but it
is missing. It is the tab ya choose to delete temp
internet files and set up your home page. Ummm why would

In IE6.0 the cookies folder has a file named Index.DAT
The attributes were corrupt, showing a PDF icon, and
opening with AcroRd32.exe, and would not delete from the
cookies folder when I tried deleting contents.

I've got some devious applications that keep running
multiple copies of IE hidden.  It then keeps sending
popup spam with an ever changing name and URL so history
kill can't find it.

i think something's wrong with my IE6 SP1 browser because

the last 6months/year it takes me between 1.5minutes to
30seconds to open internet explorer. This is unacceptable,

ever since i changed over to IE6 i haven't been able to
download half the stuff i want to.
eg. whenever it says "click on this link to download" and
i click on it, nothing happens. it doesn't even try to

I rec'd a message from Microsoft that I was to download a
patch. I did and the I.E. now shows sript errors almost
every time I enter a web address.
Don't they do anything right?
