Suddenly the Favorites display in the left-hand panel has simply disappeared! All of the other possible displays there come up as normal in response to their toolbar buttons, but 'Favorites' does not!

Whenever I try to install IE6 SP1, the install never completes?! I get a message telling me that the software is not XP approved (I am running XP Pro Edition) yet I am downloading from the Microsoft the setup.exe website!
