I need to get a copy of IE6 to put boxes with no internet
connection.  The only installs I can find require a
connection

Suddenly, IE is opening in less than a maximized window.  
I can then hit the maximize tab and all is well, but how
do you get it to open in maximized mode?

When I click on hyperlinks on a page or email, the new window opens as a
title bar only. I have to resize it and also click on the Restore button to
get the window to full size. This fixes the problem but only while IE is
open. When I close and re-open the browser, the problem comes ...

I have had trouble with my Internet Explorer (possibly
corrupted).  I have been trying to load a new version and
the following happens.  I have tried to load from the
internet and from a CD (which goes to the internet for

I am missing the "general" and a few other tabs from
my "internet options" dialog box....how do I get them
back.  Already tried to reinstall ie6.  Is this a registry
issue?  And if so how do I reset it.....Help please.

registry and reinstall.  When I run ie6setup (local or
from the MS site) I get a "Logo" error and installation

Is there a way to disable the choice 'Set as Background'

1 and Outlook Express 6, however I've noticed that IE 5 &
OL 5 are still on my computer, icons, task bar, etc..

when I try to use any search engine, i get a connot
display message. something called (new.net) quick search
seems to have overtaken the computer. I would like to

Can anyone tell me how to reduce the size of the address window in IE6?
It currently is almost the full width of the page and the links are
forced off the page.

I'm having a problem with my IE6. You know the bar at the
bottom of IE6 where it displays the addresses of links
your cursor is hovering over? And it also displays the
opening link progress after you click on the link? One
