Yes, this "problem" is a nit, but it bugs me. Upon adding a Favorite to some
Web sites, the entry in the list shows a small, unique icon to the left of
the Favorite's name. After a while these unique icons are somehow replaced
by a generic E. Can this replacement be controlled?

I am trying to install the upgrade (from IE 5.0 to 6.0). I click on the
download link at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/download.asp .
I get a pop up box that says Acrobat Reader at the top and the error message

I was told by a support person from a bank that I should
have "Microsoft Virtual Machine" ENABLED in my IE6.0
Advanced Options. I do not have a listing for "Microsoft
Virtual Machine" in my IE6.0 Options. I am experiencing

IT COMES WITH IE50 PREINSTALLED
I TRIED TO UPGRADE TO IE 5.5 O 6.0 BUT DURING THE
INSTALATION IT ABORTS AND SAYS THERE ARE SOME FILES

recently when I surffing the internet , a error box keep popping out
saying that
"An Runtime error has occured
do you wish to debug?

When I clik on an email link in explorer I get an ERROR  
can't create item... or if Outlook is not open I get
ERROR cannot open Outlook...
I have tried making Outlook my default in both IE and

Zee, I read your advice to John Smith as his problem similar to mine. (I
finally was able to uninstall old IE6 as it was not functioning however, was
unableear to install new IE6SP1 download from MS) Your solution looked
applicable

pack of IE 5.5. My system is a P-III/800 MHz with 256 RAM
and running Win98.
At the Download Center" I am able to see only SP1, SP2

I am a school district Tech Coordinator.  IF a virus/worm
damages IE, we can't get to the Internet to download new
virus defs &/or IE.  I can't download a full version on 1
computer to put on CD and take to the repaired computer
