I understand per default IE setting, when I enter "abc" plus Ctrl+Enter, the address should be http://www.abc.com. But now it becomes http://www.rspsearch.com/keyword/keyword.aspx?pid=24&v=6.1&rs=0&keyword=|~cea and then be transferred to "http://xml.overture ...

Since running SP1, attachment box shows attachment, but box is grayed out
and cannot be accessed. I couldn't find anything in the knowledge base - can
anyone help? Thanks!

setup: WIN98, IE 5.5. Basically, after running windows
update, trying to upgrade to IE6 w/ SP1. After selecting
typical install, it trys to install and gets top approx 2-
3% and fails. "Setup unable to complete....." it says it

Running Windows 98se. Installed a new hard drive, and
copied contents of old drive onto new drive in separate
folder named "olddrive." After upgrading to IE6.0, old

I had a hard disk that crashed. I had it restored. When I
looked at the files I found a number of old .DBX files.

Went to a website, encountered the "istbar" stuff and it
took over my homepage and totally messed up IE6.
When I try to run IE6 it just wants to send an error report

A friend said that when she installed Internet Explorer
6.0 she got a button on her toolbar for adzap and when she
clicks on it it blocks pop ups.  I don't see one on my
toolbar and would love to be able to disable the constant

When using the registry, then TweakUI the new IE Favorites location won't
take?  Any help would be appreciated.

I just upgraded to XP.  When I'm on live with IE6 and
click on the line at the right(between the up and down
arrows) to move down a page, it jumps 2 to 3 pages.Is
there a way to adjust this??

I open a webpage.  Right click on a link and select open in new window.  The
window appears, but nothing loads.  I hit stop and refresh, and the link
appears immediately.
I have searched the internet for this.  I have tried:

Somehow a command now replaces my set home page when IE6
is opened.  I can change it through the internet options,
yet upon opening it the home page reverts back to this
other page.  It's some sort of search page.
