I upgrader from win2000 to winxp prof. Got the latest patches. All went well except that the ie6 behaves stange. I use it only for my hotmail and for news. For popmail i use office 2003. IE6 seems to hang when i check for posts. Also changing from one newsgroup

I am currently building a small Windows 2000 server test bed, and the machines I'm using are not connected to the internet (not yet anyway). I am also testing Norton AV corporate edition out on these machines, however one component of that program requires at least IE5.5 installed.

When I Started up my computer this morning,and ExPLORER displayed an Error message "This Program has performed an illegal Operation and will be shutdown". With two buttons on this Error Window: CLOSE & DETAILS.
