I have a US computer with xp home upgrade recently
installed. I reside in Japan. Internet explorer 6 insists
I see all MS webpages in Japanese. I can't read Japanese.
Didn't have this problem untilxp installed.

Some code modified IE6 and added an unwanted (permenate)
menu bar that takes you to their search engines.  How do
I remove it?  It modified the actual IE6 program!

The General tab in internet options is no longer there.
I've tried to reinstall Internet explorer, but to no

Hi...I'm an idiot.  I think I inadvertently deleted
aomething from my programs list while trying to "clean up"
my old computer for my folks.  The printer icon
disappeared from the tool bar and now I can't print off an

Can someone please tell me how I can change from ie 5 to
ie 6??  Each time I attempt to  do this, the installation

Problem...When going onto internet explorer 6.0, It always
says has performed an illegal operation and will shut
down. I was told I could have a corrupt internet explorer,

I am unable to get Outlook Express to set as my default E-
mail client.  I click Internet options, programs, e-mail
and all that comes up is Microsoft Outlook not Outlook
Express.  Any Ideas?

I just upgraded my outlook express to version 6. Every
signle e-mail that has come in since, with attachment, I
have had problems with. The text in the e-mail opens fine,
but I get the message that says: "Outlook Express removed
