I have IE 6.0 (on Windows-XP), and I want to support also old versions of
Internet explorer.
(Since I am developing a web-site, and I want to check old browser
versions).

I just recently set up my outlook express for e mail.I
have notice it always opens the first e mail in my inbox
automatically without me clicking on it.I was wondering
if i could posibly turn that option off?

Occasionally, I go to Symantec for information about
viruses that are circulating. On occasion, when I try to
save the Web Page on how to fix or other info, I get the
message, "Can't save to specified location" or words to

When I click on the Search Icon, the search panel opens
and either it is empty or the messages "Web Page Not
found" or "Action Canceled" appears. If I close the pane
and repeat it 2 or 3 time IE usually has a fatal error.

I am unable to change the fonts in OE even when I have
selected the HTML format.  When I go to change fonts, the
new one appears in the format line, but everything
reverts to the old font as soon as I try to add to the

I have two identities that I manage on outlook express -
one is a small biz email address that I added a password
to just in case my children clicked on it.  We were
getting lots of smut emailed.  I set up the password and

I recently had to uninstall XP, Explorer, etc. In re-
installing I'm not sure how to import the OE address book
and files that were backed up to a CD. There are several
files showing on the CD. Can anyone tell me which is the

After installing IE6 (when I installed Visual Studio .NET),
in explorer.exe I get this message (with changing memory
positions):

OE 6.0 is blocking .jpg attachments.  Is there a setting I
can use to change this?  If I can never receive a .jpg
or .tif file this program will not work for me.  I believe
this began when I upgraded to 6.0.

"portalsearching.com" has invaded my computer.  No matter
how many times I delete it from my 'favorites' list ( I
do not know how it got there), or how many times I delete
it from my screen(it keeps generating shortcuts for it
