Hard disk problems left me with Outlook Express unable to
run. My Toshiba laptop came with system restore CDs
rather than Windows XP CDs, so I cannot restore the files

Ok, heres an odd problem for ya'll.  
When outlook express downloads emails from the server, it
will delete them before they are read, in some cases it
will delete emails after they have been marked read.

While working on any program, randomly, the computer will
dial up into the internet, without even clicking on the
Internet Icon or Dial Up Networking Icon. How do I stop
this?

In Outlook Express, I frequently receive emails with the
message "if you are seeing this, your email software does
not support MIME format".  Can OE be configured to read
these messages?  Most are not readable.  THANKS

I currently am running Windows ME with IE 5.5.  I received
the CD for IE 6.0 and have tried numerous times to set up,
but I always get a message that it cannot set up IE 6
completely, re start and try again.  What gives?   Am I

Is there anyone out there that can explain to me how to
enable spell checker... I've done several things,
inlcuding going to tools then options, but when the
options window comes up there is NO "spelling" tab.

I reinstalled xp due to loss of msconfig.exe. Now I can't
play yahoo games and other things because of javascript

I am currently using IE5.5. I tried to update to IE6SP1
and downloaded it successfully. Trouble is I get a message
indicating it won't install. I shut down all programs
leaving only the explorer and systray running and tried
