get this message when trying to open IE6. I`ve tried the possible cures
mentioned in a similar post, where the message is "failed to get data
for 'aC'". Spybot has been run, I`ve tried to uninstall IE6, but the
message shows even then. It also shows when I open "explorer",

I've got MSIE 6 on my Windows XP box.
I need to be able to use 5.5 as well, to make sure our web
sites look right in that browser.
Anyone know if I can have both at once on the same box?

I am trying to update to Internet Explorer 6.0.  After
reinstalling it for the 2nd time, I still get the

When I receive e mail, I cannot open any attachments.I get
a message stating 'Outlook Express has removed access to
the following unsafe attachment'- even though previously I

OE deletes all incomming messages with attachments, does
anyone have the answer.

I receive the following message sending outgoing mail:
An unknown error has occurred. SMTP, Port: 25, Secure
(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0B
I am able to get mail however.  I have run sfc /scannow

Mac - your solution:
To remove all Internet Explorer branding, follow these steps:
1. Click Start.
2. Click Run.

My title bar currently has the text "Outlook Express (or Internet Explorer)
provided by AT&T WorldNet Service" tagged onto the end of the title of the
webpage or mail/news account being displayed.  How can I get rid of this
remark?  I have not had this service for years.

I have WIN ME and when I try to install 6.0 the wizards
installs about 75-90%, then it closes down saying not all
components were installed and I must restart setup. What's
going on?

comes up--what do i do???!!!

Although saving cookies are enabled, my computer refuses
to save ANY cookie-and keeps clearing(or doesnt save) the
Temporary Internet files on its one although i have no
such software to allow this happening.
