OE6 gives me a message: "An error has occurred while
spelling was being check" whenever I want it to spell
check my emails.  I'm using MS Word 97 and spell check is
working fine there.  My PC is an IBM with XPP SP1 pre-

I start up OE 6, and AOL IM opens automatially. I tried
going into the preferences/setup fo both OE and AIM, but
neither one mentions the fact that they're tied together,
or how to un-couple them.... Verrry annoying.

I have built a new PC running XP. The old HDD which had
W98SE and IE/OE 6.0 on it is now my D drive. How can I get
the messages from my old HDD into the new install of
XP/OE? Just copying over the .dbx files doesn't seem to

i've looked at all the settings and can not find an option
that allows me to view HTML emails??? i've changed all the
securities settings that i could find and am still unable
to view them? I'm sure this is some security setting but

When I open up an e-mail (in I.E.6)with photo attachments,
the photos also open up in the body of the e-mail below
the message, how do I prevent this? I can find nothing
about this in 'Outlook Express Help'

I am running exporer 6.0 and unable to get java script to
run on web pages. I have downloaded sp1 update and also
accum updates as well I try to down load and install the

I am having problems with the computer at work.  A program
was accidentally downloaded (gohip.com) that constantly
changed the home page each time the computer was
restarted, and now when I go to Internet Options I no

Following a new installation of XP and IE6, I find that
OE6 is very slow to open taking from 30 - 45 sec. No
other apps are open and CPU usage is negligible (<5%)
