PROBLEM:
In order to run the new anti-virusprogram, I need to have upgraded to IE 6 (I now still have IE 5.0). I went to Windows Update and downloaded the IE 6 Service Pack, but I seem to have gotten caught in a loop trying to install it, always getting the error message:

I cannot close my Internet Explorer window. need to use
CTL ALT DELETE to do it.
I have noticed a strange default adresse in Home Page/Use

worked. I get a message that has 2 boxes Work Offline and Try Again. If I
click on Try Again the windows goes blank then state that the URL is not
