Hi there! i just re-installed my new windows XP
professional and internet. I am having problems on how to
speed up the the rate of my internet. I have tried every
possible solutions but no progress so far. I have called

I know you go to internet options and the "general" tab
to change your home page.  My questions is when I start
typing an address in space to the right of the "Address:"
in the Home page section, a list of addresses appear.

How do I get rid of/delete certain unwanted "Favorite
Pages" that when deleted, re-appear when the computer is
rebooted and Microsoft Internet Explorer is reloaded.

I have IE6.0.
The home page options are grayed out. I cannot select a
home page.
This started after a webpage placed its www in the address

During setup, stops and message is "A previous
installation has pending work requiring a reboot...need to
restart before running Internet Explorer setup".  
Then "Setup was unable to install all the components.

When accessing the "Tools -Internet Option"  there are no
tab for Security or Advances features.  It tells me that I
do not have Admin rights.  This is my home PC.  Please
help resolves or explain this issue.

Running NT40 (SP6)was having issues with IE6 so tried
reinstall. No go so I uninstalled old IE6. New IE6setup
will not properly install. On boot after several tries I
got the following:

This computer belongs to pensioner who may not have turned
NAV off before proceeding.

All of a sudden I have noticed my address bar is at the
far right side of the screen in the same area (bar) as
the icons.  I can only see the word Address and not even
it's input area.  Help please!!!

Everytime I try and run the ie6 setup, the system loads up to the advanced authoring (about 92%) then it stops and I get a message stating that some components could not be loaded.  ie 5.5 still comes up but will only go to secure (https) sites.  There is no ie entry in the add ...

I need to be able to block specific web-sites from our
office staff.  I have gone into Tools/Internet
Options/Security and added these sites but the staff are
still able to pull up the sites.  We have Windows 2000
