I have Windows ME and IE 5.5 and when trying to install
IE6, I get the following message:

I am also getting the internet explorer has encountered a
problem and needs to close.  Is the company working on
this problem?

1) I have Windows XP Pro as the operating system. It came
with the computer.
2) The Internet Explorer I have is Version 5.0.
3) I want to update it to Internet Explorer 6.0

I work in an elementary school computer lab and have set
up a desktop shortcut to one of the K-2nd grades favorite
sites - which all the teachers prefer that the page is
maximized.  The desktop shortcuts work as far as opening

Where can I download a copy of MSJVM?

As soon as I open IE6 to any URL, about 5-10 other pages come rolling in
shortly thereafter.  I did have reg/seeker viruses on the computer but got
rid of them using Sophos.
Any suggestions?  I'm using ZoneAlarm and Norton AntiVirus / Windows 98SE.

i keep reciving a error report from microsoft when i start
internet explorer i click on send report and when i do, it
says lexplore has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL lexplore
will now close i try restarting my computer and the error

i have six porn sites attached themselves to my system and
keep loading onto desktop, also nine have attached
themselves to my favourites, also when i boot up i get an
error in windows script host, i.e. :

Lately my IE 6 and Outlook Express have been scrolling two
and three pages at a time when I click in the scroll bar

Cannot access Paypal a/c due because I have IE 5 Version 5
Encrypt.56 bit.  Need to have min128. When I try to
download the necessary encrpy package I'm getting msg not
compatible with my system.  Also says I need IE version

have had problem with deleting history. ---- often will
not work with "dlete history" button in tools --- usually
will if I re-boot ????

I tried reinstalling IE6 recently.  About 4% of the way through, I got a
message box saying that the software has not passed windows logo
compatibility and cannot be installed.  The behavior repeats as many times
as I am willing to try installing.
