When I downloaded IE5.5 the installation stopped and gave
error message: "Setup was unable to install all the
components. Please close all applications and try running
setup again."  I have tried several time to no avail.  I

I can't change my internet explorer home page.  When I am
in the internet explorer I click tools and then internet
options a message pop up "This operation has been
cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this

This error appears every time I start windows.  Does
anyone know how this file could have been deleted and how

I have a problem in IE (Win XP) and need to uninstall it
before reinstalling.  "Add/Remove Programs" seemed to work
but when I clicked desktop IE icon, it still came up.  
Also, the IE directory still appears intact.  When I tried

I had to reinstall Windows ME on my Athlon 900mhz. It came
with IE 5.5 but my Verizon ISP install required 6.0, which
it came with and installed. But I can't connect to the

Hi Joe, I'm Sue. I did the opposite of what happened to
you. I upgraded my version of 5.0 to 6.0 and now I cannot
access the internet during the day. Might you know how I

I am getting directed to the WRONG homepage everytime I go
online, it takes me to a porn site. I have changed my
homepage throught the internet options but each time I
turn the computer off it keeps going back to the wrong

I'm running IE 5.5 under Windows 95.  Often when I click
on a link in a dropdown menu on a web page I get a
response like "Error on page" or "Java Script error".  
Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?
