Recently, I got a unknown search engine displayed at the bottom of scrren
under IE6 (as a separate window), it contains sex, casino, travel and some
others tabs...
How can I remove it from starting with the IE6?

there is a little box in the corner with colors but when
you click on it nothing happens why isnt that content

I am having a number of problems with my IIE6.0 the key
problems are:
1. I cannot install Macromedia'a FlashPlayer
  I have set my IE options as dictated by Macromedia

When I try to set up IE6 I get an error message that says the download location information is damaged and to clear your IE browser cache and retry Setup.  As I am an apparent novice, I don't seem to be able to comply.  Any advice appreciated.

All of a sudden the content advisor screen is popping up
asking for the supervisor's password.  The content advisor
has never been disabled by anyone and no password has ever
been set.  How do I reset it?  I have Win98.  I contacted

I have a computer in the office which I assume has had
some spyware or similar software downloaded on it because
the home page will change periodically to
res://mshp.dll/index.html#xxxxx. You can change it back to

I keep re-setting my home page to USAToday.com, but vvery
time I boot up my computer my home page has changed to
something annoying "findthewebsiteyouneed.com".  Do I
have a bug?  Is something messing with my system?  I also

Can anyone tell me which directory outlook express stores its messages. I am
running win 2000 s pack 4.   I think they are .dbx files but cant be sure.

On certain sites I cannot see certain images, and also hyperlinks cannot be
seen. For example, the icons next to the radio buttons at www.whereis.com.au
. These sites are fine on through my IE6 at work and friend's 5.5.

In IE vs6 I am wanting to copy my "Favorites" file.  Will
someone please provide me with the file name and
extension.  If you know the location - that would be

Cutsomized Links display as dropdown, not inline in the toolbar06 Mar 2004 19:47 GMT1
It used to be that my customized Links displayed 'inline' on the toolbar display.  IE was re-installed and now the Links show only as a dropdown, thus I can only see the top one and must click on it to see the others.  Is there a change process to have them display 'inline'?

error message that i have performed an illegal operation
whenever i try to open the my computer ,recycling
bin,control panel, and start bar icon on my desktop. then
when i close that message i get one that says internet

I am running IE6 and need to set my internet settings to medium-low, which I
can DO, but when i reopen to check that status, its back to medium again.
Can someone help me?
