i have kind of a strange problem.  when i go to certain
websites, specdifically cnet.com, the ads and pictures do
not get downloaded.  i get an error message like "Action
Cancelled  Internet explorer cannot link to the webpage

Is ther some way to set for every user the "Bypass proxy
server for local (Intranet) addresses" by vbs or registry?
I have a script that fills in the local addresses but it
can't tick that box.

I have 5.5 Explorer and was on the internet.  Something
jumped into my pc and corrupted Explorer.
I am getting an error message continuously "Explorer has
caused an error in WDMOK.DLL and will now close.  If this

My History list in explorer is all wrong!
It only shows my computer, and some kind of urls, but the urls are very
cryptic, all wrong.
Could you tell me how to restore this?

I'm using internet explorer 6 at home and I've found I
have no Microsoft VM settings relating to Java under both
Security setting / Custom or Internet options / Advanced.
I do get these options on my PC at work.

Every new window I open, opens 1inch by 1inch,,,or sometimes the window will open fully maximized, but the blue bar on top is barely above my task bar is there a way to correct either of these issues, any help would be appreciated, thank

i have been having problems with install/uninstall in the
past.  I finally got some help on how to allow my computer
to let me install IE even though is says there is a newer
version already installed.  My problem now is that the

I uninstalled my version of IE because it was blowing up
each time I tried to use it.  I did the uninstall, and
downloaded the IE6setup.exe.  Now when I try to reinstall
it will not, saying there is already a newer version
