My o/s is windows xp home - when I try and delete history files using the Tools...options, it does not work. the egg timer runs and it appears to have worked, but when i relaunch browser, history files still appear. can u help?

It would appear that a number of Iexplore users are having problems with : Iexplore has caused an error in Kernel 32.DLL. Iexplore will now close. Isn't anyone able to help? we are desperate.
