Hi!  I have Windows XP with Interet Explorer 6 on my home
PC.   The default home page is searchdot.net  -- which I
have tried to change several times.   To change the home
page, I have gone into Tools -> Internet Options ->

I am attempting to upgrade IE from 5.5 to 6, but am repeatedly getting a message indicating an incomplete install and the need to reboot.  I've tried repeatedly but haven't had any success with the upgrade.  Any ideas on how to resolve?

It is nice to see, I guess, the number of people who are

I have to type 'http' in the address bar to get to a web
site.  I used to be able to start with 'www.'  How can I
fix this?  What happened to cause this?

My problem is that IE6 (and OE6 as well) are using the wrong paper
size for printing, unless I manually reset it every time I print.
Both programs are using paper size A4 (a British size) which is longer
than 11" and therefore the footer (web address) does not print.

I have a toolbar that began loading with explorer about 3
weeks ago.  I have been unable to remove it, through
registry.  Also am unable to set home page.  Always opens

I don't use hotmail, outlook express, or outlook for my
primary e-mail program.   Can I use a different program
(in this case it's First Class Client) as my default in

I have had many problems with IE.  After a few uses, I
got "Microsoft internet is not closing"  and a box to
check if I wanted to alert Microsoft about the problem.  
The solution for me was to do a complete system update -
