My computer just recently started with a problem that both of my parents have run into on their computers (at their home and at their office). Something I believe has downloaded or installed itself without my knowledge screwing my internet explorere up.

i just purchased NHL 2004 and I am trying to install it...
to do this I need to update to IE 6.0 (I have 5.5)
everytime I try to install, I get to about 90% and it
keeps aborting stating "...was not able to intall all

When we empty the delete file, all previously read E mails in the inbox and

When I do View/Source from IE still nothing happens on
screen (not even if I try to right click on the page and
try view source from there) - previously I use to see a
new window appear with the source codes there for

When I start using IE6 the Dial-up Connection windows pops
up. Then I go into settings and shows "Always Dial a
Connection" and then change to "Never Dial a Connection".  
I'm able to use IE6 for a few minutes and then the Dial-up

Hi. In my IE6 I have a default page that is a "search for " page. I tried
to change this page, from IE6 properties, from registry and with
the Mcafee Internet Security to delete the spyware and comercial
programs, but the page still opens.
