I have a problem with re - installing IE 6 on Windows ME. I cannot see it on add and remove to uninstall. It only loads paetially and I cannot access the web via Explorer (I am using netscape to try and solve this.

When I open IE6 I have a bunch of browser windows open up besides my homepage. Most are adverts for on-line casinos-I can't get rid of them-I've run spybot and cleaned my computer-what else can I do. I am familier working in the Registry if that would help!

I am hoping someone can help me. Since loading XP, I have had a recurring fault. When I download an image from the net, it downloads as a *.jpg file (this is confirmed by clicking on 'properties').
