I too had problems with spyware, so I bought Privacy
Defender v2.2 I had to upgrade to IE6. Now upon trying to
install IE6, I am getting an error message when the

I am trying to install IE 6.0 SP1 on a Windows 2000 Pro
box.  When I try to run the installation program, I get
the followig error: "Setup was unable to install all the
components. Please close all applications and try running

I have a fairly large number of clients to upgrade from
IE5 to IE6 (on Windows 2000 pro).  We use password
caching (don't like it, have to accept it) and find that
following the upgrade any saved passwords are lost.

Currently I have Cyrillic seleted as the Lanuage script.
When going to Internet options/fonts I can select other
languages and fonts but none are saved when clicking OK
It always goes back to Cyrillic aaaaagh. I have

I have been having a problem with my default homepage.  
Something has taken over and has set my default homepage
to an undesirable webpage.  I have used reset websetting
and it did not work.  Does anyone have any quick fix ideas.

Whenever explorer6 executes it generates "Illegal.."
messages and "Microsoft Explorer has detected errors..."
messages and then tries to open a screen http://thesten.com
which causes more messages and then ends up with a screen

I am having the same problem as Mark
