I have several users logging in to the same Win 2000

Can someone please point me in the right direction to
have the Proxy settings set for any profile that logs
into a computer.  The way I have it set now is everytime
a new user logs in to a machine he or she needs to set

I can not get the customize button under SEARCH to work.  
A blank window appears.  What can I do?  I have
downloaded the latest updates and patches.  Don't know
what else to try.  Why wouldn't the new version work?

Hello : Whenever I enter an incorrect URL I get the following search page
C:\Documents and Settings\Rakan\Local
Settings\Temp\bashprogramhope.htm#http://www.XXXX.com/
where XXXX.com is the incorrect URL. The thing is I cant find the folder

When downloading files from the internet, they
automatically open in Microsoft Excel.  How do I change
this setting to give me an option or something?

BACKGROUND
I like to sort my favorites in logical (to me), not alphabetical,
order.  But I exceeded the maximum number of favorites in the top
folder that IE allows before it starts ignoring my order and begins

After running ad-aware6 this morning I found that I could no longer run
IE6 and received an error message "Windows cannot access the specified
device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to
access the item."  So I decided to re-install in the hope it would ...

When I go to "Tools", "Internet Options", I get this

IESETUP6 DOWNLOADS FINE.  IT IS WHERE IT SAID IT WOULD
DOWNLOAD TO MY PROGRAMS FOLDER. THE PROBLEM IS THAT IT
BOMBS OUT WITH AN ERROR MESSAGE AT ABOUT 89% OF

I am using ME and IE 6. Sometimes when I click on links to
web pages it does not load the page and opens Notepad.
Is this the web page it's self or I have got a problem.
Any help is much appreciated.
