My wife was accessing a web site when she was bombarded
with pop-up ads.  A software she had installed told her
she has xxx amount of files that should be removed.  Once
she did, she could get back into IE.  We hit the icon and

When I click the blue "E" to open IE, in the Dial-Up
screen, the "save password" check box is grayed out so I
can not select it to save the password.  How do I fix

i m setting my website as my homepage but as soon as i
reboot the computer it goes back to blank.I ve used
lavasoft ,spybot nd CWShredder but i don't know what is

Even when I am not on the internet, my computer has
recently begun to open windows that say "Microsoft
Internet Explorer" and places an ad on the screen.  If I
am not connected to the internet, it gives a "cannot find

Even when I clear the temp files & reset the homepage, it
just sets to http://hot-searches.com/index.php?v=6&aff=0.
What can I do??

I installed Virgin.net on my computer and now want to get rid of it. I have used 'search' and deleted all the 'Virgin' references BUT it still appears on the top tool bar as 'I/E provided by Virgin.net. How do I get rid of from there ...

IE has become damaged and is not in the add/remove
programs listing, so I cannot run the removal program.
I need to FULLY, strip it out before I re-install it
because it keeps crashing on certain secure websites.
