Been trying to upgrade from IE 5.0 to IE 5.5 or IE 6. All I get is a message: "A previous install has pending work requiring reboot. You need to resart computer to complete thqat installation before running IE setup."

Tried the Internet Explorer tools option and cleared history, but when i click on the tab for showing history...all the history of the sites once again pops up. Tried going to the Windows Explorer and deleting the history from Explorer but the history still does not go away even ...
