I have eliminated almost all pop-ups and I find it
infuriating that the main pop-up I have left is from
Microsoft Internet Explorer-  -  Does anyone get the pop-
up of SpotOn. Wow. It is annoying and I am wishing that

link bar had their own icons.  Now they are all those

Hi, My History List fails to list my recently visited web
sites.  I have set the days it is supposed to store them
to 30 but still nothing appears in the list - this is

Recently IE5.5 got seriously hijackd by some creeps who
tried to force me to buy their so called security software.

I have something that has been inserted into my IE.  It
redirects most invalid addresses to an adult site.  Also
in the Go To menu there is added a XXX option that takes

the mistake of uninstalling IE6. I'm currently running IE5.5 and seem to have

I recently re-installed Internet Explorer version 6.0 w/
SP1, and when I rebooted it told me that it could not
register the file ycomp_5_3_2.dll. I looked on the
microsoft site and did a search for the dll files used by

I'd like to transfer my Favorites from AOL to I.E. 6.0.
But somehow, the New Favorites folder has been deleted.
Does anybody know how to retrieve this folder or install a
new "New Favorites" folder with the appropriate prompts?

When I start IE the window size is tall but narrow(about a
fifth of the screen width).  How can I get IE to be larger
or take the whole screen when I launch it without having
to resize the window or pressig the 'full screen' buttom?

I've used Add Remove Programs to try and repair but
nothing has helped.  My computer has Windows 98.
