IE Window will not shut down either by clicking the "X"
or File-Close.  It bounces back.  On Cable Modem.  HELP!

Hello, when ever i click on my internet explorer i get an
noyying homepage and i can only stay on that home page.
When i go on tools then internet options and i try nd
change thw homepage it will not let me. The homepage

i cannot access some secure bank sites  (for example  www.us.hsbc.com --> Personal Internet Banking.)
it says the page cannot be displayed.
i have Windows 2000, IE6 SP 1, Cipher Strength: 128 bit with patches Q837009, Q832894, Q831167, Q823353.
anybody please help.

I have Win2k Pro with IE 5.0 and ISP is Bluelight.  For

Every time I turn my computer on and Windows XP loads up,
Internet Explorer connects to the net.  Also, when it is
just sitting idle, it will connect all by it's self. I just

Something has corrupted my toolbar. I cannot unselect two toolbars that come
up everytime I enter IE. Also, in the FAvorites tab, 4 UNWANTED sites are
listed. I delete these sites off the Favorites, close IE and when I open it
again they are there along with the two toolbars that ...

After XP failure and reinstall of OS, not able to migrate

select a link then I automatically go to the next page then I hit the back  
button and it says page has expired.  I'm not logging into this website

It is already Tuesday, 10th August, 2004 and still tere is no sign of
WindowsXP SP2.  It was promised by uncle Bill and he must have got his
