How do I tell what version of Internet Explorer I'm
running??

Why does Microsoft put old updates out on their list
for "most downloaded"? I went out thinking that IE had a
new update and it turns out that I already had a newer
version of IE running on my machine.  Now I am half way

Before I switched to IE6 w/WinXP, I was able to save &
subsequently view selected files (i.e., .swf, .wmv) from
my temp internet folder.  Now all I get is a blank (.swf)
or error message (.wmv) when I try to open these files.  

when i try to connect using my wireless card, i'm told i'm not connected or
server not found. butwhen i connect my modem directly with usb cable, i'm
able to get online.  both instances i have an excellent wireless connection.  
PLEASE help!

favourites list.  How do I do this so that they stay

Hi, yesterday sept 28 when I double click my explorer
icon it would open to my browser window now today on the
29 when I do the same thing what I get is the properties
dialog box. I did a system restore to the 28 and still

When i try the latest update for explorer it tells me i
have there was a problem and to close all applications and
try again! Nothing is open other than the install wizard!
I'm using Windows ME please help!

I used to type what I was searching for in the address bar without using the
urls.  Now for some reason I cannot do that!  Such as in the address bar I
would type

I am trying to upload files to data storage site my company uses after adding
SP2. Normally I just browse to file on computer and push 'upload'. Now when I
push 'upload' I get following message: "Special characters ?,#,%,/,\ are not
allowed in names of files which are uploaded!!" ...

My Outlook Express is not working so I tried to re-load
the Internet Explorer 6.0. I keep getting the following
message even after I reboot the computer as the message
request.

A am trying to install IE 6.1  on a windows ME computer the
setup program gets started and starts to install the
internet browser and then jumps to 90% and tells me it
cannot install anything no other information.

Since I had trouble launching IE6 I decided to reinstall
it, but everytime I tried I would get the following
message while setup was about 15% into the install

users.  I've been able to find  the keys for current user

I cannot get my browser to autocomplete usernames and passwords.  I've
checked all boxes and nothing happens when I go to a login page.  I used to
use roboform but have uninstalled it.  Can anyone help me fix this?
