When I open Internet Explorer, a home page comes up that I do not know where it comes from. I changed my home page in Internet Explorer by going to "tools", Internet Options, General, and there I change the home page to a local newspaper.

I'm working on a freshly installed Windows 2000 Pro machine with IE6 and all the Windows Update patches installed, with an updated antivirus working fine. I just can't go on secured web sites (HTTPS).

I'll attempt to keep this as short as possible... I defragged my Win98SE system, it did not finish and it locked up computer...after rebooting I was not able to get back in, desktop flashed icons but then all disappeared and no Start button showed up either...desktop

I have deselected pop-up blocker on the tools menu and also on internet settings and it still blocks pop-ups. How do I turn it off? Also, I have AOL and the links within my mail no longer open an explorer window.
