I hope I'm posting in the right group.  It seems that when i log onto a

Not sure whether my problem is settings in my IE or my XP but when I try to

Starting a week ago I cannot access Internet Explorer from my home computer.
I use Windows 2000. I have tried to uninstall and then re-install the
application but nothing seems to work. I have used Spybot to clean up any
cookies, etc form the computer.

Info bar in IE is very bothersome. Click it and choose info bar help and
follow instructions to turn it off and it is still there. Why am I not

After starting a download it goes well at first, however, after a minutes or
less the connection with the download site is lost and the download stops.
