I can rightclick on it and get the Internet Properties but doubleclicking on
it produces nothing.

I have a intel p4 ht 512mb 200gig hd win xp pro and when i install sp2 and
when it finshes i restart then i connect to my broadband connection i go
yahoo works fine the other web sites it won't let me go on it says page
cannot be displayed. so i take off sp2 and web pages display ...

I have windows XPhome. It has IE 5.1. I want to get rid of it but you

I have a windows XP home machine and just ran windows updates. The version
of internet explorer on my machine now is 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.040919-10031S
Now, everytime I go to the windows update site, I get an error on the page.
I have tried everything and no go....

I have IE6 on an XP machine. I have gone into Internet options, Programs tab
and set "Outlook Express" as the default Newsgroup reader, however it keeps
getting cleared from the box.

I have a client who runs IE 6.  Under the Security Tab
the custom levels button is greyed out.  I believe that

I get the following error message when I try to install internet explorer:
"A previous installation has pending work requiring a reboot."
Presumably some operation was terminated mid installation and wonderful
XP is still looking 6 months later....
