I'm running Win 98se- after installing IE 6 and updating , I have been
unable to repair IE. I ran setup again, and got the message "unable to
repair... tdc.ocx version exists but needs to be greater than 1 3, 0, 3130.

Is it possible to burn de complete download on a cd to install on a PC with
win98.
I have downloaded this install with a PC with win XP.
When I want to open the file ie6setup.exe, I get the message: There is a

Is my ISP BSing me? They say that with their service a dialup connection and
talk on the phone while surfing the net if using a V92.
My modem manu is no help.

There is a major UK company that has a web presence at www.argos.co.uk. For
the past week I have been unable to view this site and believe it may be one

I enabled the "Content" Advisor on several PCs. I limited the access to
approved web sites.
I tested each PC to make sure you can access only the approved web sites I
entered. That works fine. However, several days later the "Content" Advisor

When I boot my system I get three separate boxes that say as follows: Error
Loading: C:|Windows|System32\bridge.dll, msiefr40.dll, and inetp60.dll. The
boxes go on to say The specified module could not be found. I have to click

I have a user who gets lots of pop-up ads.  He runs Ad-Aware.  In looking
through IE Help it says to go to
Tools, Pop-Up Blocker, but this option is not there.
I also looked under Tools, Internet Options, Privacy and there is a setting

disconnects me from the Internet. It appears to happen when I go from one

Restarting doesn't eliminate this happening, it continues happening ...

Every time I open a link on a web page it comes up minimized.  The only time
it comes up maximized is if I go to a link that is assosiated with the page
I am on.  What I mean is that if I am on Yahoo and click on a link that has
something to do with yahoo it stays maximized.

I cannot start ie when i do a double-click in any icon of the iexplorer,
including the exe file. I upgrade to iexplorer6 and same thing. I use
Win98SE. What can be wrong? some virus?
