I have this problem lately. I had my DSL connection up and running and I'm
able to do downloading and uploading using other software. However, when I
launched IE it will give me a blank page as if the connection wasn't there.

When the browser is open and I click on Favorites the pull down menu opens
slowly and when you mouse over the up or down arrows to scroll it is
painfully slow going one line at a time. At the same time iexplore.exe is
showing 99% CPU utilisation.

i have troubles with https sites . I can log on, but
loading takes about 1.5 min, although i'm conected with 1.8 Mbps. Loaded

I have reimaged a machine with win2000 and would like to know if there is a
full admin version available for download on microsoft.com.  If so, I can
download it at work and take it home for CD ...

I wonder if anyone can help me with a problem that's just begun - and it's driving me nuts. My OS is Windows Me.
IE6 opens up OK and will usually display a website, but when I try to navigate around it - eventually it hangs.
Ctrl-Alt-Del just gives me the "Program Not Responding, ...

I have spybot, hijack this, avast  loaded on my compaq 2500us notebook.
I cleaned my computer of a lot of junk using ccleaner and easy cleaner.
While my notebook runs a whole lot better, i discovered 4 errors :

so that I could open any picture on the browser with PS by clicking it. Is

For some strange reason, lately, whenever I do a Ctrl-F on a web page IE6
crashes and dumps back to the desktop.
It may have been caused by the installation of an errant shareware program,
however, I can't seem to find a cure.

When I go into internet explorer, all of my pages have this grainy texture to
them which makes it difficult to view the pages.  Also, the pages will not
fit on the screen without my having to scroll across.  Can anyone shed some

I'm experiencing a maddening problem. When I click on a web link to a media
file in IE6, I'm confronted with the dialog box seen here:
