I just bought a new computer with a 17 in. flat screen monitor and notice
that web pages don't fill the screen.  Where's the adjustment for that?

I am having problems posting a question here. Seems that I am allowing pop
ups from the site but the blocker does not allow it. I can only press Ctrl
when I click on New Post to get a window to enter data. Is this how "Allow
pop ups" is supposed to work within IE? Version is 6.0 ...

i am getting a funny error message when i try to open a
dat file and cdt file using IE6 from a website which i
cannot post here.
the error is something along these lines, cannot locate

I am unable to upgrade to IE6 service pack 1. During download i get a message
telling me that the installation is unable to complete, please try again. I

I have a user who has changed his settings under Tools, Pop-up Blocker to
not allow Pop-ups, but he still gets them.
He has run Ad-Aware and nothing has been found.  We run Sophos Antivirus.
What else should he change?

I have some emails in text-looking files that seem to have all the HTML tags
and code, but I cannot open them (in any application) in a way to see the

I recently went to work for a new firm and installed an older MSDN copy of VS
6.0 on a brand new Dell. The installation routine removed the Java VM and from
that point I have had trouble with web pages insisting that Java be reinstalled.
I reinstalled Java 4.2_04 and now the pages ...

I cannot see the source code of a web page when I select "View Source".
I'm running IE6 with XP Home o/s.
I've checked that the Notepad is available but nothing seems to happen when
I call up "View Source"

Is there a way that you can restrict all internet sites except those that are
approved in content advisor or is thier a way to password protect Internet
explorer?

I have encountered a problem with IE6 SP2 and all the on-line help i've found
suggests i reinstall the browser.  how do i do that since all the set-up
versions i have available are for IE6 SP1?
