Everytime I go on internet through my dialup. I must reset the "connections"
option. I must reselect " auto detect settings" under setting option for
default connection & LAN settings. If I set it at idle - off line, it set OK.
When I dial in I must again go in & reset ...

XP SP1 with all hot fixes (not willing to go to sp2 yet)
I updated a laptop today with all the latest hotfixes and after reboting, IE
6 would take forever to launch - 60 seconds or so.
Entering a different url and loading the new web page also takes much longer

I have a HP Pavilion 6735 Windows ME. I have tryed a few times to get this
download together.I have uninstalled it ,and reinstalled it. I had it on my
PC before,
files got missed up and i had to restore everything. all is back but the

Hello all. Using IE 6, is it possible to print a webpage without the default
header and footer ? I emailed HP about this first, but was told this was a
"feature of the Internet Explorer browser and has no settings to bypass. Is
this the case ? Thanks in advance.

Have a problem with an old w98se box running IE6. It is not fully
displaying webpages and is often "done with errors".
The error is a complain about being unable to load a DLL. It would be
useful if IE mentioned the name of the DLL but in true M/S style it does

I'm trying to simplify my file structure for backing up.  Can I move
the Favorites folder to My Documents?  How do I direct IE6 to find
it?

I setup WinXP Pro alot and I have trying to find out if I can make a reg
script file to setups some defaults before running IE the 1st time so when
useing IE I don't get the repected dialog box prompting me for these setings

when I clicked a link to download a was given a window where I could click
"Save" and then choose the location where to save the file.  Now when I

I've been having a problem for the last couple of months
on my laptop.  In IE6 I get the following screen to
appear when I try to get to an HTTPS site:

When I try to access my bank I get an access denied line 23 error.  I have XP
Pro with all of the updates including SP2.  I have another computer the same
and I can get on with it.

XP IE6 SP2 window contents are scaled up on my Dell 510m laptop. An image or
frame 700pixels wide fills 2/3 of the screen rather than 1/2 the 1400x1050
screen. Text looks fine but images such as the Microsoft Logo are badly
