I'm using IE6, would like to save (snapshot) certain web pages for offline
(that is, when an Internet connection isn't present...and to preserve the
web page if a provider takes down the web page later)
Here are problems...

Currently, while in IE, if I select some text, it automatically selects the
entire word. How do I turn this off, so that it only selects where I put the
cursor?

At some occasion, after a certain period of activity, the browser stops
displaying pictures? How does it comes?
Closure and restart of the application or complete system restart solve
apparently the problem.

I need to Install IE6 on a computer with no internet access. I was
going to download and copy it from another pc, but the windows site
only lets you download the 480KB install file, and indicates the
remaining 80MB will be downloaded during the install. I can't get that

Following Don advise in reply to my previous question, with reference to
what "mvps.org" is giving as guidelines, I've tried to delete TIF but I got
the following message:
Cannot delete images[1]...
