I recently installed netscape, and it set itself to de3fault and somehow

My I/E 6 running XP HOME SP2. I/E will not retain the settings by locking the
Toolbars. It will retain settings as long as there I do NOT do a restart or
Power down. Links icon works but to show all links I have to reset the
toolbars.

Was wondering if anyone is having the same problem and what they did to fix it.

Everytime I try to open my homepage, I get a message that microsoft is sorry
for the inconvenience and hopes I wasn't in the middle of something (!!!) and

How do I set IE to launch Word as separate application when clicking a .doc
hyperlink on a web page. I would like to be able to have both applications
(IE and Word) running in separate windows. This was the case with earlier
versions of IE

I'm not sure how this started, or why, but my IE6 will
not display backgrounds to the websites that I access.
